Process Explorer for Windows

When you bring up Task Manager (using ctrl-alt-del) there is a tab showing the processes that are running on your computer. Process Explorer extends this information, first by telling you which program has spawned the process. It then informs you which handles have been opened by a given process. You can also see which dll's and memory-mapped files are associated with a process.

Process Explorer is a handy utility to have in your arsenal when trying to manage your system resources. It's simple, lightweight, and useful.
